The cycling route is a loop approximately 6,918 m long which will be traveled by:

  • 13 times for competitors from the Medium (Half) race – 89.9 km;
  • 6 times for Standard (Olympic) competitors – 41.5 km;
  • 3 times for the Sprint competitors – 20.7 km.

For the HALF race:

  • Drafting is not allowed.

For Olympic race distance:

  • only road bikes are allowed;
  • Drafting is allowed.
  • For the Sprint test:
  • the use of road bikes and MTB is allowed;
  • Drafting is allowed.

The drafting area is 3m wide, 12m long rectangular shape for bicycles and 5m wide, 35m long for vehicles (motorcycles). The length is measured from the front wheel of the bicycle or car. The width of the rectangle will be centered on the middle part of the bike or in front of the car.

Moving a bicycle or car in the drafting area is prohibited, because it prevents another competitor from overtaking, except for the violation of the drafting area.

Temporary passage into the drafting area during overtaking maneuvers is allowed. This should not exceed 20 seconds.

The overtaking:

  • an athlete is considered to have overtaken another competitor when the front wheel of the first's bicycle has passed before the second;
  • once exceeded, an athlete has 10 seconds to leave the drafting area;
  • the athletes must move on one side of the road, to allow overtaking and not to block the other athletes.

The exceptional cases in which entry into the drafting area is allowed:

  • for safety reasons (e.g. avoiding an obstacle);
  • 100 m before and after the fuel station, at the entrance and exit of the transition area;
  • 100 m before and after a tight bend.

Race numbers will come with an elastic band and must be worn on the back by each competitor during the cycling race. The competition number must not be damaged (cut, torn, bent) or covered in any way.

The cycling helmet is MANDATORY for all competitors during the cycling race, as well as during the pre-race warm-up.

Bicycles accepted for competition must be in good working order, with working brakes on both wheels.
