I NEED LICENSE FROM THE TRIATHLON FEDERATION?
If you participate individually, the answer is YES, you need a license and if you don't have it, you won't be able to participate in the competition.
We recommend that you get your license in time, so that you don't have any surprises.
You can apply for the annual license or for one race, online, on the federation's website.

If you participate in a relay race, you do NOT need a license.
If you want to score in the National Triathlon Circuit, the license must be annual.

WHY EQUIPMENT DO I NEED IT FOR THE BIKE COURSE?
We assume that you already have the right bike for the race you signed up for (see the previous question).
It must be perfectly functional, so as not to endanger your safety or that of those around you. First of all, it must have functional brakes.
Other aspects you have to take care of would be: the levers must not be damaged, you must have plugs at the end of the handlebars, you must not have artisanal devices on the bike, etc.
When handing over the bike in transition area, before the race, a technical official will check its technical condition (a kind of technical inspection). If it does not correspond technically, you won't be able to compete with it.
You also need a bike helmet which will be checked when entering transition area.
Wearing a bike helmet is mandatory for the entire duration of the bike course.. Failure to comply with this rule may result in disqualification.
